STRABAG Property and Facility Services (PFS) has been selected by the German Federal Institute for Real Estate (BImA) to provide hard facilities management services at the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Berlin, along with three additional sites. The contract extends an established partnership with STRABAG PFS, which has extensive experience managing complex federal properties requiring security clearances.

The main Wilhelmstraße complex spans approximately 41,000 sqm, combining listed and modern buildings. Facilities include office and administration areas, an underground car park with EV charging infrastructure, and an on-site day-care centre.

The three secondary sites cover around 11,100 sqm across Mohrenstraße, Taubenstraße, and the former Reichspost building on Französische Straße. These partly listed properties present additional technical and operational requirements.

Under the contract, STRABAG PFS will assume responsibility for nearly all maintenance and upkeep of the buildings’ technical systems, reinforcing its reputation for delivering integrated FM solutions to high-profile government clients. The agreement highlights the growing demand for specialist facilities management services in secure, complex environments.
