ISS North America has secured a multi-year partnership with the United States Polo Association to deliver integrated facilities management and hospitality services at the National Polo Center in Wellington, Florida. The deal covers cleaning, food and beverage, and club operations, while USPA retains control over security, grounds, stables, and polo activities.
The National Polo Center, a premier polo venue with six championship fields, two restaurants, and the Pavilion event space, is also home to The Polo Club, a membership organisation for polo enthusiasts. ISS will bring its culinary arm, Guckenheimer, to revamp dining across the 7th Chukker and Mallet Grille restaurants, enhance catered events, and elevate the overall guest experience with chef-crafted, sustainable, and inclusive offerings.
Leadership at the property will include Xavier Roca, appointed General Manager, leveraging 25 years of hospitality and food and beverage experience from roles at Delta Airlines and The Ritz-Carlton. Rene van Camp, Chief Hospitality Officer, will provide ongoing oversight as ISS and Guckenheimer redefine operational standards.
USPA Chairman Stewart Armstrong emphasises the partnership ensures the venue operates as a world-class facility and sets a benchmark for sports venue hospitality in the U.S. ISS CEO Steven Quick notes the collaboration will make hospitality the cornerstone of the visitor experience, ensuring seamless service for players, teams, members, and staff alike.
The move reflects a growing trend of integrating high-end facility management with hospitality expertise to enhance operational efficiency, elevate guest experience, and strengthen brand reputation across iconic sports venues.
