Revisiting the excellence recognised in 2025, Applegreen’s Facilities Management (FM) team has been honoured with the Workplace and Estates Team of the Year award at the Facilities Management Awards 2025, recognising their leadership in sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.

The award celebrates the team’s successful rollout of energy-efficient upgrades and a new FM system that has delivered major cost savings and enhanced performance across Applegreen’s network. 

Their work not only improved operational efficiency but also strengthened the company’s environmental credentials, achievements that have already earned Applegreen multiple national and international accolades, including the AIBF John Hurt Environmental Award for Excellence and Best Foodvenience Store in the World 2024.

Judges commended the Applegreen FM team for their strategic vision and strong commitment to customer satisfaction, noting how their sustainability initiatives and future-focused approach continue to drive meaningful improvement within the organisation.

Building on that legacy, the spotlight now turns to 2026. Entries for the Facilities Management Awards 2026 close on 7 November 2025, with winners to be announced on March 11th, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Royal Convention Centre, Dublin.

Since its launch in 2014, the Facilities Management Awards have recognised the most innovative teams, projects, and professionals setting new benchmarks in property and facilities management across Ireland. The awards remain the industry’s leading platform for celebrating achievement and sharing best practice.
