Tirlán was named winner of the Workspace Transformation Award at the Facilities Management Awards 2026, held on 11 March 2026 at the Royal Dublin Convention Centre. The recognition honours an in-house FM team that delivered one of the most compelling workplace transformation programmes seen in the awards this year, combining strategic vision with practical execution to reshape how people experience the built environment.

What began as a response to changing work patterns evolved into something considerably more significant. Through the Hybrid Smart Workplace Programme, Tirlán's FM team drove a full cultural shift, generating 3,500 visits to a 300-person office, a figure that speaks directly to the quality and appeal of the environment they created. The programme's frictionless workplace strategy removed barriers to occupancy and engagement, while the Tap and Reuse digital system demonstrated how technology, when integrated thoughtfully, can reinforce rather than disrupt the human experience of a workplace.

"This entrant delivered a defining example of workplace transformation led with confidence and vision by an in-house FM team," the judges noted. "Through a frictionless workplace strategy and the Tap and Reuse digital system, this transformation successfully aligned physical space, technology, and human experience, creating a workplace that not only supports its people but actively shapes a stronger, more connected culture for the future."

Tirlán's win reflects the rising standards within the Facilities Management Awards, where the strongest workplace entries demonstrate not only design and technology capability but the organisational leadership required to turn physical change into lasting cultural impact.
