Stirling-headquartered UK construction and services group Robertson has rebranded its facilities management business as RFM and appointed Adrian Mole as CEO, marking a significant structural development for one of the UK's largest family-owned FM operators as it enters its seventh decade of trading.
Facilitate Magazine reported that the rebrand and appointment form part of Robertson Group's wider separate business initiative, with RFM continuing to operate across both hard and soft FM markets and expanding its offering in energy management and decarbonisation.
Mole has been with Robertson for eight years, most recently serving as executive managing director of Robertson Facilities Management, and brings more than 30 years of industry experience including 22 years as regional director at Carillion prior to joining Robertson.
Key clients served by RFM include the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, NHS Business Service Authority, National Galleries of Scotland, Wakefield Council, ScotRail and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, with facilities management forming part of Robertson Group's operations for more than 25 years.
Mole said: "The facilities management industry is constantly evolving, presenting both opportunities and challenges. By remaining committed to embracing innovation, adopting new technologies and developing long-term partnerships, we will continue to meet the changing demands to ensure sustainable growth. I'm proud to play a key role in this next chapter, where our focus remains on delivering service excellence for our clients across existing and new geographies."
Elliot Robertson, CEO of Robertson Group, said Adrian's leadership over the past eight years has been central to the organic growth of the FM offering and in helping establish the new brand, adding that RFM will further enhance its presence across UK markets by creating efficiencies for clients in both the public and private sectors.
