Gresham House Ireland has appointed Tara Ferry as director of property and asset management, strengthening the leadership of its Real Estate team as the firm pursues significant growth in its Irish commercial property portfolio.

Business Plus reported that Ferry, a chartered surveyor who joined Gresham House Ireland in 2023, brings over 19 years of experience managing institutional portfolios and delivering asset and property management services for major investment funds.

Prior to joining Gresham House Ireland, Ferry held director positions at CBRE, where she led a team delivering property management services for the UK's leading commercial funds, and at Group Workman LLP. She is a chartered member of both the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

The Real Estate team at Gresham House Ireland is led by Steven Fagan, who manages and advises on €350m of assets on behalf of institutional and private clients across asset management, development management and property management services.

Fagan said Ferry's expertise, professionalism and drive have strengthened the team in so many ways, adding that the firm has ambitious plans to grow its real estate portfolio significantly in the coming years and that Ferry will play a key role in delivering on that strategy.

Ferry said the Irish commercial property market is seeing strong momentum, with sustainability increasingly driving long-term performance.

The Gresham House Commercial Property Fund has won the MSCI Award for Best Performing Portfolio in Ireland for the past five consecutive years, reflecting the team's consistent track record in the Irish market.
