Dalkia UK has been awarded a three-year facilities management (FM) contract with global technology leader Fujitsu, following an eight-month competitive tender.

The agreement, starting 1 December 2025, covers mechanical and electrical maintenance, building fabric services, and innovative energy solutions across five state-of-the-art data centres and 15 corporate offices across the UK and Ireland.

For the first time, Fujitsu’s UK data centres and corporate offices will be united under a single FM agreement, allowing standardisation, performance improvements, and efficiency gains across the entire portfolio.

Ian Thomas, director of operations at Dalkia UK, said, “This is an exciting start to a strong partnership between Dalkia UK and Fujitsu. By delivering a combined FM approach to both data centres & corporate buildings, we’re committed to supporting Fujitsu’s strategic goals. With a shared sustainability vision, we’re excited to get started and make a lasting impact together.”

Head of Engineering at Fujitsu UK Properties Dave Hawkins added, “Our interactions during the selection process made it clear how committed Dalkia UK are to making the world more sustainable and building trust through innovation. We are delighted to share a mutual vision for forging a genuine, long-term partnership.”

Dalkia UK will leverage its internal expertise and the support of the EDF Group, alongside Fujitsu’s energy provider, to deliver on its sustainability and operational promises. The contract highlights the growing role of integrated FM solutions in driving efficiency, compliance, and energy optimisation for large technology enterprises.
