Northern Ireland's leading accident management company CRASH Services has opened a new 6,579 sq ft office and valeting facility on a 1.7-acre site in Mallusk, representing an investment of almost £500,000 (€584,000) as the business marks its 30th anniversary and responds to sustained growth in demand for its services.

Business Eye reported that the new depot has been developed as a dedicated operational hub enabling CRASH to manage and maintain its fleet of more than 630 vehicles, supporting faster vehicle turnaround and minimising disruption for customers following a collision.

The facility includes purpose-built wash bays and full valeting facilities, alongside a water recycling system that captures and reuses water from vehicle cleaning operations, reducing overall water consumption across the site. On-site electric vehicle charging infrastructure has also been installed, capable of simultaneously charging up to six hybrid or electric vehicles as part of CRASH's growing low-emissions fleet.

Founded in 1996 by Michael McKeown and led since 2015 by his son Jonathan McKeown, CRASH has grown to operate across offices in Belfast, Newry, Derry/Londonderry and Mallusk, with staff numbers having grown 50% over the past five years and the team expected to reach 140 in 2026.

Non-fault case numbers have risen by more than 200% since 2000, and the company has now supported over 150,000 motorists across Northern Ireland. The business maintains ISO 9001 certification across all sites, marking 16 consecutive years of meeting recognised quality standards, and records a 99% customer recommendation rate based on returned surveys over the past 12 months.
