Capita has secured a series of contract extensions worth more than €15m with some of Ireland’s most recognised organisations, reinforcing its role in delivering facilities-supported operational services across utilities, media, telecoms, and the public sector.

In the utilities sector, a leading energy retailer has extended its partnership with Capita until the end of 2027 under a multimillion-euro agreement. Since 2018, Capita has delivered specialist collection services that have reduced debt by 10% annually. Service delivery is supported by teams in Ireland and Poland, combining local expertise with operational scale and technology-enabled efficiencies.

In the media sector, one of the UK and Ireland’s largest commercial news groups has confirmed a two-year contract extension from 2026. The partnership, which spans nearly two decades, covers customer service, order processing, supply chain operations, and outbound sales for thousands of newspaper agents across the Republic of Ireland. These services rely on integrated operational management and facilities-supported workflows to ensure continuity and service reliability.

A public sector organisation responsible for resolving claims has also agreed a one-year extension from the second quarter of 2026. Capita has supported the organisation for more than 20 years, introducing digital enhancements such as automated Voice of Customer surveys, SMS reminders powered by Amazon Web Services, and improved role-based access controls to improve efficiency and compliance within regulated service environments.

In telecoms, a major brand has renewed its partnership with Capita until 2027. Teams in Ireland and Poland continue to deliver debt collection and accounts receivables management, supporting accurate reconciliation and financial performance across complex operational estates.

Capita Ireland employs over 840 colleagues across its sites in Clonakilty and Little Island, Co Cork, delivering AI-enabled, people-powered solutions that support operational resilience and facilities-enabled service delivery.
