ABM, a leading United States facilities management and outsourcing provider, has won an additional contract with Victoria Square shopping centre in Belfast, expanding its service scope beyond existing cleaning operations, as reported by the Belfast Telegraph.
The three-year agreement adds technical services and security provision to ABM's portfolio at the 800,000 square foot retail destination. The contract commenced on 1 February 2026 following a competitive tender process.
ABM has delivered cleaning services at Victoria Square for eight years and will now support the centre through two complementary contracts aligned operationally through its ABM Performance Solutions delivery model. The expanded scope enhances security provision to reflect the centre's evolving needs and upcoming compliance requirements.
Richard Sykes, senior vice president and president of ABM UK and Ireland, said the expanded relationship represents an important milestone for the company in the UK and Ireland. He added that high-profile destinations demanding resilience and consistency at scale increasingly want a single, accountable partner that can deliver measurable performance.
The ABM Performance Solutions model remains central to the company's UK and Ireland growth plans. ABM is expanding its footprint in Northern Ireland with Victoria Square as a landmark destination.
Michelle Greeves, centre manager at Victoria Square, said the shopping centre is a dynamic, high-footfall destination at the heart of Belfast city centre. She added that appointing a partner to support evolving operational and compliance requirements was important.
ABM has over 2,600 team members across the island of Ireland and specialises in providing customised facilities solutions to clients in both public and private sectors.
