Once you have created your PDF submission and you have all items in the Items Checklist, submit your entry via the Online Entry Form. CLICK HERE.

This award recognises the outstanding use of smart building technology, including digital twins, IoT sensors, building management systems (BMS), and connected asset monitoring, to improve the performance, efficiency, or experience of a building or portfolio over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Technology Background: Please outline the smart building technology or digital twin solution implemented, including the building(s) or portfolio it covers.
  • Implementation: Describe how the technology was deployed, including any integration challenges with existing systems or infrastructure
  • Data & Insight: Explain how the technology has generated actionable data or insight, and how this has been used to inform decision-making.
  • Outcomes & Results: Summarise the measurable impact on building performance, energy use, maintenance efficiency, or occupant experience, supported by facts and figures.
  • Supporting Facts and Statements: Please include any other statements or facts that support your entry, including client testimonials where possible.
