This award recognises an organisation or team that has demonstrated exceptional management, performance improvement, and innovation across a portfolio of commercial properties or facilities over the past 12 months. This award is open to property management companies, facilities management providers, integrated FM/property management organisations, occupiers, owners, and in-house teams responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties or facilities. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Portfolio Background: Please describe the size, diversity, geography, and complexity of the portfolio under management, along with your operational strategy and standards across the estate.
  • Performance Improvement: Provide quantifiable improvements achieved over the past 12 months in areas such as cost, efficiency, uptime, asset performance, or tenant satisfaction.
  • Sustainability & ESG: Describe the portfolio's environmental performance, including energy, carbon, waste, biodiversity, and wider sustainability initiatives.
  • Technology & Innovation: Please include details of any PropTech, FM technology, data, automation, or digital twin solutions employed across the portfolio.
  • Customer/Occupier Experience & People: Describe how tenant satisfaction and workplace experience have been managed, and how your teams, suppliers, and service partners have contributed to this.
  • Value Creation & Results: Please provide hard evidence that your approach has protected or enhanced the value and performance of the portfolio.
